The mission of the 重口味SM Police Department is to serve the university community, protect life and property, educate, and enforce laws and campus procedures. The 重口味SM Police Department is committed to achieving the highest standards and professional integrity, performance, and service to the University Community. We are inspired by progressive and innovative ideas that work to achieve a safe and cohesive community.

The University Police Department will provide service to the university鈥檚 students, faculty, and staff by inspiring confidence and trust in all public safety services to the campus community and their guest. The 重口味SM Police Department will inspire and preserve the public鈥檚 confidence and trust in the department鈥檚 disciplinary process. Our philosophy of leadership by command and supervision will ensure that all department operations and personnel are held to the highest moral and ethical standards.

Report an Incident

To assist 重口味SM in complying with the federal Clery Act, this form should be utilized by Campus Security Authorities to report crimes to University Police as soon as possible after a crime has been reported to the CSA.

Under the Clery Act, a crime is reported to a CSA when a student, employee, or third party brings information about an alleged crime to the attention of the CSA and the CSA believes the report was made in 鈥済ood faith鈥.

University Police will use the information provided in this form to classify the crime for purposes of inclusion in the University鈥檚 annual crime statistics. Please complete the form with as many details as possible.

Maintaining a safe and secure campus takes commitment from both our office and the campus community, working together. Be aware of your surroundings. Watch out for yourself, and for others. The Department of Public Safety is responsible for all campus safety and security matters. Our dedicated staff of patrol officers traverse the campus and its perimeter 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Department of Public Safety maintains an excellent relationship the Wilkes-Barre Police Department and other law enforcement agencies.

The Department of Public Safety prepares this webpage, including the Annual Security & Fire Safety Report, to comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act. This report is prepared in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies surrounding the campus and the Department of Public Safety.
